The Genesis 5 Glock 19 9mm is a huge improvement over the previous generation. The barrel art allows for a better sense of distance, and the new factory is impressive. Put 200+ rounds through a variety of Blaser Brass FMJ 115 grain bullets and Federal FMJ 115. No failures at all. Love it.

I have been a fan of XD for many years. I've always loved XD, it shoots well, and there's no reason to change it. I started looking for a new carry-on and decided to find my perfect EDC. For me I wanted at least a 4 "barrel, good ability, respect for reliability, all my fingers to fit the handle, left-handed friend and well both ... all the guns I would be ashamed to destroy the finish to the edc ... .oh, I'm 6'2" and 160lb so it should also hide more than street signs. Shoot different ammo in all 1k rnds and zero problems. Hard to shoot, hits all the time, handle is 1/4" longer than the 13cnd XD sub and an inch shorter than the extended XD. Down......Ergonomics arnt great but I'm used to it. Glock products are can get it, it's not me and they will change soon, the trigger is not very good, already changed it w/an Apex and it improved. Overall, the best gun for me and my recommendations came out here today.

I just got my G19 Gen 5 3/12/18…. And I love it. The first 250 shots of the level per point. My accuracy was really good at 10 to 15 yards He bought 30 eggs to expand on..and had a bag that weighed, TOO MUCH!!
I've had the Gen5 for 2 months and put about 1200 through it. I've used about 7 different types of ammo and different types like hollow point and fmj variations and everything else. No problem at all. It actually works flawlessly on every download. In addition the new finish on the barrel and slide is amazing to look at and easy to clean. Tolerances are tight so there will be a barrel wear ring but obviously not true. A new barrel is very reliable to shoot at 20-25 yards if you do your part, this gun will not let you down. Missing a finger is better for me. Couldn't be happier with other pistols.
I love the Genesis 5, it's my first gun. I put on 1000 tires. The entertainment load is not reliable. I know the gun was released recently but I would like to have some final parts to fix my Glock; widened the well. Maybe something to fill the mag "cut" they recently did on Gen 5. How long will it take companies to start providing the final parts for gen 5?
Glock 19 Gen 3
I've been shooting for about 7 months now, and I've shot up to 4200. I've never had a problem. Most of the trigger is better (already upgraded from Gen 4) I installed the 3.5 link, which you can find on this site, and that helped the trigger and it feels good in EDC. I also found a collapsible slide lever that makes disassembly very easy. A good shine helps replace the mag, the barrel still shoots well, and the barrel and slide still hold. I take this out of my kydex holster several times each day and practice all my dry fire shots and it shows no fatigue at all and I still clean the gun. A very well made and upgraded Gen 4 pistol.
Really anyone thinking of getting this gun, do it and treat yourself!! This is truly an amazing pistol and you will not be disappointed!
Genesis 5 is definitely an upgrade from Genesis 4. I remember the basics: Finger size, ease of use or controls, grip and love of fingers. I think there is a good grip due to all the changes that have been made. I like the font on the Gen 4 but the Glock 19 was too small for my hands and it's still there, but the angle or something shows it better. I know many are afraid of new gun barrels but I have found them to be true. I liked the 124 grain Winchester 9mm Luger NATO FMJ through it and that was hot. All industry sectors are good.
I bought the 5th Gen shortly after it came out and was not disappointed. I also have a G19 gen 4 and still love it. However I think now the 5th Gen has become my favorite. It looks great, a bit better than gen 4 (for me). I really like the new cover on the page, and the lack of font. There is so much more I could say, but bottom line... I highly recommend this gun.
Glock 19 Gen 3 9mm 10/15 Magazine, Ca Legal
Great gun, replaces Glock 19 Gen 3. I replaced it with a Domo Red Romeo Zero which makes it a real weapon.
Well, so far, so good! I love it, and it works great. Good size, heavy grain carrier. If I want a small stealth pistol, I have others for that. 16 rounds of 9mmP should be more than enuff to "get the job done" - god forbid something like that comes up! My only concern with this pistol is the lack of extra parts or upgrades as sold on the Glock 19 models 1-4. One thing that helps is the new barrel and the pistol is much longer than other Glock models, which should work with the recoil. The Glock doesn't need a reload so I'm the only one there.
