Worst sag I've ever seen... I'll see if it can handle it on its own.

You should know exactly what you are getting. I really like this gun, I just wish the trigger wasn't so hard. However, I love the challenge of knowing how to pull the trigger and learning the nature of the trigger. Other than that, I really like this gun. I own the Buck brand and it's much quieter than a bookmark. If you are looking for a smooth trigger, then this is definitely not the gun for you. If you don't mind practicing with this pistol, it will serve you well and generally help you with all your other pistols.

I love this gun, me and my family have fun practicing. We love the look of rugby players. For the price, it's worth it.

According to the specs, the rifle's weight is 3.15 pounds. Weight is 1.35 pounds in listed specs. Which makes me wonder... is this gun metal or plastic?

The working parts are metal - the handle and the lid of the barrel are plastic. Although I doubt it's more than a few pounds. It is very similar to the Buckmark in function and style - many automatic safety and imitation details. It's probably a can. Buy two for quick races.

Ruger's best innovation in the entire line of Mark IV pistols is its easy one-button takedown. Mark I, II, and III pistols are known to be difficult to disassemble for complete cleaning. When I worked at the shooting range, we gave shooters the opportunity to rent a Mark II rifle for field testing. Because it was so difficult to disassemble, no workers were willing to clean it, and it was often neglected. Ruger overcame this difficulty with a one-button kill on the Mark IV pistol. When the button on the back of the frame is pressed, the barrel receiver assembly tilts up and is removed from the handle frame.

What I like most about the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite is that there is a lot of extra support for the pistol. Companies like Tandemkross and Volquartsen offer various upgrades and replacements for guns. We review the best Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite upgrades in another article.

Enthusiastic shooters of 1911 will love the Mark IV 22/45 Lite, which is comparable to the grip of a classic 1911. That's why it's labeled 22/45: because it's a .22LR, but the frame and handle angles are modeled after .45ACP 1911.

The 1911-style checkered rubber grips provide a comfortable grip and ensure your hand doesn't slip, unlike some polymer grips. The serrated front strap and checkered back strap also help keep the gun in place.

The Mark IV 22/45 Lite has a fixed front viewfinder and an adjustable rear viewfinder. Both front sight glasses are black, although you can replace the front sight glass with a fiber front sight glass.

The first time I shot the Mark IV Lite, I found my scope to be very poor. Fortunately, this is easily remedied with an adjustable rear sight. There are adjustment screws on the top of the rear viewfinder (height) and on the side of the rear viewfinder (vented). I recommend spending time aiming for the rifle on the first shot.

The trigger and trigger on the Mark IV Lite could be better. I felt the pistol's curved trigger due to the handle and angle of the 1911 style pistol grip - I was expecting a flat trigger like the 1911. Because of this, I replaced the trigger on the competition pistol. with the aftermarket flat trigger.

The trigger pull is a stretch, heavy and stiff, with many shooters weighing up to 5 pounds. Luckily, there are ways to fix this problem, including aftermarket kits or a small kitchen table for crafting weapons.

Left-handed people are in luck as the Mark IV 22/45 Lite has a manual thumb-safety feature. Ruger offers a washer that allows shooters to switch the safety to left-handed only if ambidextrous safety is not to your liking.

The fuse is easy to turn on and off. When the gun is in a safe position, a white dot can be seen under the safety switch. When the gun is unsafe, a red dot is displayed.

When shooting, I like to rest my thumb on the safety pin, just like I did with the 1911. I felt uncomfortable doing so with the Mark IV 22/45 Lite safety pin because of its smaller size. Fortunately, there are large over-the-counter safety devices that solve this problem and help with grip and control.

The magazine on the Mark IV Lite is a round button behind the trigger guard. If I try to do a quick reset, the button is hard to reach and manipulate. It works well, almost starting the magazine from the gun.
